Well, I think one of the most important things we do to help people feel comfortable is we get to know them. We’re gonna slow down and talk to them. And most of the time, just by having a connection, we can get through a lot of that anxiety. Every room, there’s TVs that people look at, or patients look at while we’re doing treatment. And that still blows me away at how effective that is just to distract people from what we’re doing. And so, they’ll sometimes put on headphones and listen to what the TV’s saying, but mostly just kind of getting grossed in that. But we’re just gonna be real gentle and explain what we’re doing and kind of just go through the process.
I’m amazed at how we will have people walk in here who are very afraid, but after we get to know them, after we kind of go over what we’re doing, it’s really not a big deal. And people kind of step up and find that it’s not a big deal. When they leave, they’re like, “Oh, I thought it was gonna be so much worse.” Offering that is one way we give them relief.
